We built CreatorFinder to let website creators (web developers and web designers) show case their portfolio to the rest of the world in an independent website. CreatorFinder also lets users see who created websites. Yes, it is sometimes possible to see who created a website by looking at the footer of a website. But, this is only an indication of who is currently maintaining the website, which is not good enough. Using CreatorFinder, it will be possible to eventually see who all were involved in creating a website.
What is Special with CreatorFinder?
CreatorFinder does not just show who made a website, it proceeds to verify that a creator has actually made a website by using one of the following methods:
- You can verify by uploading a file to your website
- Uploading a meta tag to your home page HTML.
- Designers can verify their role in design of the site without having access to FTP
